Aviation Insurance
   Aviation insurance is purchased voluntarily; it can be generally purchased at airport. Insurance amount is RMB 200,000 for each insurance policy and several policies can be purchased by one person.
If you couldn’t take scheduled flight, however the aviation insurance has been purchased. Full amount of insurance can be returned by presenting explanation at the place where the insurance been purchased.

 

Information about Luggage
Free Portable Luggage
   Passengers in the first class cabin are allowed to carry two pieces of portable luggage with them while only one piece for other passengers; its weight and volume shall not exceed 5 kilograms and 20cm×40cm×55cm respectively, and they can be put under the seat in front of passenger or in the enclosed luggage rack.
Attentions: Liquor and any article with blade or sharp edge are not allowed to be carried to the plane together with the portable luggage. And liquor consigned for every passenger shall not exceed 2 bottles. For liquid substance in hand baggage (except the limited medicines necessary for your journey), drink for try shall be practiced when passing the security inspection.
   Suppose vacant seat is available in the cabin, pushchair can be carried to board for free; otherwise, please go for free consignment, which is not included in the fixed number of free luggage.
Baby carrier and adult wheelchair must be regarded as luggage that requiring consignment.
Fixed number of free luggage:
   For first class passengers: 40kg
   For business class passengers: 30kg
   For economy class passengers: 20kg
   Passengers holding infant tickets enjoy no fixed number of free luggages
Portable Electronics
   For your safety, certain portable electronics are limited to be used during the flight, in respect that they may cause interference to the navigation and control systems of the plane. When the plane is gliding, taking off, approaching to the destination and landing, any portable electronics shall not be used.
The portable electronics which are most likely to cause interference are portable radio, mobile phone, electronic game and other electronic devices, which are forbidden to be used during the whole flight.
Laptop is allowed to be used when the plane is on the stage of cruise, from the time when the indicator light of seat belt is turned out till 20 minutes before landing.

 

Valuables
   It is not allowed to consign important document and material, securities, currency, precious metals and products, valuables, antiques, calligraphies & paintings, fragile and easily-damaged articles, corrosives, samples, travel documents and etc., which need to be kept by appointed person; otherwise, the airline will undertake no responsibilities for loss, damage or delayed transportation.
Luggage Delay
   If your luggage is not arrived with you at the same time owning to the airline, the airline will bring it back to you as fast as possible; if the delayed luggage could not arrive on the same day, the airline will make certain compensation for the inconvenience inflicted upon your journey.
Damage and Compensation of Luggage
   If your luggage is damaged because of the airline, please declare this to luggage inquiry department, and the airline will provide repairing service and compensation.
   If the consigned luggage is damaged or lost, the airline will provide the passenger with necessary compensation or compensation in accordance with the damage. If the value of your luggage is relatively high, purchase of luggage insurance is recommended.
   For normal wearing of your consigned luggage, loss or damage of your hand luggage, the airline will not undertake any responsibility.
Helpful Suggestions:
   Please attach a small card indicating your name, address and telephone number on the luggage consigned. In case there is anything unusual of the luggage, we could contact you as soon as possible.

 

Knowledge of Security Inspection
   1.Certificate inspection. As soon as the passenger steps into the security inspection zone, certificate will be inspected at first. The inspectors will inspect and check the ticket, boarding pass and ID card of every passenger, and then stamp the security inspection seal respectively on the boarding pass and the luggage tag of the portable articles. As a result, all passengers must get their tickets, boarding passes and ID cards ready in advance, and hand the portable articles to the inspectors voluntarily.    2.Luggage inspection. The passengers should put the luggage carried with them on the conveyor belt in front of the inspecting instrument for inspection. The instrumental inspection does no harms to human body, camera, film, food and etc.

   3.Body inspection. For all passengers who travel by air, they must pass the security gate for body inspection. Metal objects carried with them, such as pen, key, nail clipper, hardcover cigarettes (with tinfoil), pocket radio, calculator, health-care product’s box and etc., shall be handed to the inspectors in advance, and then pass the security gate, obeying inspections on other items considered to be necessary by the inspectors. After inspection, you can board with your articles.
   4.The prohibited articles inspected by the security inspection refer to arms, lethal weapons, edge tools, ammunition, inflammables (such as gasoline, kerosene, butagas and etc.), explosives (such as firecracker, small fireworks and etc.), toxic & radioactive articles and other dangerous articles which endanger the flight safety. If you have to carry some edge tools (such as sword, martial broadsword & cudgel and etc.) because of job and profession requirements, you can handle air consignment in advance. If you carry the contraband to the security inspection site against the regulations, the inspectors will hand them over to related departments to deal with or confiscate depending on circumstances.
