this true?

   Answer: Yes, this is true. Though Xinjiang uses the standard Beijing time, there is a two-
hour time difference. Xinjiang time is two hours behind of Beijing time, which is GMT+6. 
Almost all local minorities use Xinjiang time instead of Beijing time.
