Opened in 1994 and refurbished in 2004, Milky Way Hotel Chongqing is located close to the Jie Fang Bei area, the business and shopping centre of the city, only a five-minute drive from the railway station and 45 minutes from the airport.
Aside from the good location the hotel offers fairly typical restaurants which feature mostly Chinese cuisine, with a few western choices, and has room service. There is a small salon in the hotel but no fitness center or sauna. Rooms are exceptionally large and have equally big bathrooms. There are pay-per-view movies and of course TV and IDD telephones. This is a practical choice for its location and exceptionally large beds.
