Jilin
Jilin Province is situated in the central section of China's northeast region. It is highest in altitude in
the southeast, and drops gently towards the northwest.Jilin has a northerly continental monsoon climate, with long, cold winters and short, warm summers. Average January temperatures range from -20 to -14°C. Rainfall averages at 350 to 1000 mm.
Being the capital city of Jilin Province with clivia as its city flower, Changchun is the political, economic and cultural center. it is still a young city comparing other historical cities in China, like Xian. It is located the central part of Songliao Plain, covering a total area of 20,571 square kilometers.

Changbai Mountains Changbai Mountain is situated in Antu County of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture in nor
theast China, bordering the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in the south. As a dormant volcano, Changbai Mountain boasts rare animals, marvelous lakes, amazing hot springs, and forests that stretch to the horizon.
The most beautiful part of Changbai Mountain is undoubtedly Tianchi, or Heavenly Lake. The lake was formed in the crater of Changbai Mountain, and it is the source of the Songhua, Tumen and Yalu Rivers. Changbai Mountain is also the cradle of Manchu, Korean and Han nationalities. The altitude of the Heavenly Lake is 2,189 meters (about 7,182 ft), and so the average temperature is 7.3 C.
The Tomb of the General
The Tomb of the General (Korean: Janggun-chong, Chinese: Jiangjun-zhong), also known as the Pyramid of the East, is thought to be the burial tomb of King Gwanggaeto or his son King Jangsu, both kings of the Korean kingdom of Goguryeo.The pyramid is located in Ji'an, Jilin province China, a former capital of Goguryeo.
The base of the pyramid measures approximately 75 meters on each side, about half the size of the Egyptian pyramids and is eleven meters in height. The pyramid is composed of 1,100 dressed stone blocks.The pyramid-style tomb was typical of Goguryeo culture and was transmitted to the Korean kingdom of Baekje's burial practices.
Jingyuetan National Forest Park Jingyue La
ke National Forest Park covers 200 square kilometers, with over 4.3 square kilometers water surface and 80 square kilometers planted forest. Forestation coverage in the park is 58.6%. The lake is falcate, so it gets the name.
It is famous for its picturesque scenery, reputed as the sister of Sun-moon Lake of Taiwan Province. The whole scenic area consists of Jinyue Lake National Key Scenic Spot, Jinyue Lake National Park and Jinyue Lake Tourist and Vocation Area.
Jilin Rime Festival
Rime, also known as "snow willow," "tree hanging" and "ice flower," is a kind of phenomenon where winter fog condenses on tree branches and leaves to form individual white ice crystals, according to meteorologists.Together with the Mountains and Water of Guilin, Stone Forest of Yunnan and Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Jilin Rime is regarded as one of the Four Natural Wonders of China. It was first lauched in 1991, usually held between December and late January.

Air
Changchun Longjia International Airport is in the northeast part of Changchun city- 21 kilometers away from Changchun, 62 kilometers from Jinlin. A taxi ride from the city proper to the airport costs around 80 RMB.
Railway
Changchun Railway Station is in the north part of urban district, in the north end of People Road and it is the third largest railway station in northeast China.There are regular trains to Haerbin, Jilin, Shenyang, Beijing and Shanghai.
Taxi
No.1 Automobile Factory of China is in Changchun, so taxi service and car-rent service are convenient here. There are many "Audi" taxies in the streets; flag rice is 5 yuan for 3 kilometers and then 1.4 yuan per kilometer.
